Continuing on this line, I wonder whether today some people judge all digital cameras - even non-digital images, by what they have been "educated" to see from the sort of colour and "feel" (I know it's a dreadfully vague word) we are fed by the zillions of point and shoot Canikons or their more sophisticated big brothers? It seems to me that Nikons offer a very different kind of image from Pentax, or Leica, or... ... To me, each has its own character. One is not necessarily "better" or worse. Just different. Good photographers, it seems to me, get to know what their machine will do under differing circumstances, and will make good use of their idiosyncrasies.

Yes! Looking forward to the next year! Wonderful lighting in all of these, and all well seen. We don't have anything "Western" this old in Australia. There are many wonderful things though, some of our art goes back more than 40,000 years...

I'm impressed by the quality of the images in your stream. I've read so many bad reports of the M8, some by highly respected photojournalists. You are doing some great work with it.

Excellent set - I especially like #3 and the reflections of the church. Congrats on 300 - here's looking forward to the next 300 :)
