Mesa Verde National Park

PART ONE: Sept 5th we went to MVNP. Colorado is rich in Native American History. Ancestral Puebloans inhabited Mesa Verde for more than 700 years (550 A.D. to 1300 A.D.) It was not until the final 75 to 100 years that they constructed and lived in the cliff dwellings for which Mesa Verde is best known. I have quite a few photos of those dwellings. The biggest one is called the Cliff Palace. I tried to put them in some kind of order but the last half are random because I couldn't figure out where they belonged. Very cool historical experience.
