Frozen In Motion

I had some ideas for today's theme, and as usual they didn't turn out like I wanted for whatever reason and my actual photos came unexpectedly and were better than my planned ones. When will I learn to just go with the flow and not overplan?

While I was at the park I spotted a bunch of seagulls flying around by the lake so I parked the car and hopped out. As I walked up and started shooting, a kid came over and started throwing his Doritos out on the ground near where I was to lure the birds in close for me! He kept edging closer so he could throw them right in front of me and get the birds right up close hehe. Nice kid! He ran out of chips as I ran out of space on my CF card and we parted ways for the evening. :)
I got a lot more shots that I liked than I was even hoping for, so I apologize if you guys get sick of the seagulls! I narrowed this down from about 400 shots!

Side note, I am sorely behind in catching up on all the comments and such and looking through everyone's blogs. The last few days have been so hectic (as evidenced by the fact I am posting at 12:35 am)! Thank you to all of you who have been coming back and looking! I really do appreciate all the community support!

Cropped a bit to get rid of the extra random wing.

Throwing doritos for me and creating quite a bit of motion! :)

PS, I heart my camera. That is all.

Not in motion, but it was a good photo, I thought and went with the set. Needed some calm after all that chaos!

These are great! 1 and 7 especially! The thing about motion is it doesn't actually have to be moving. :) Well done!

Nice set. Please add me as I'm about to post for the theme.
