Keys!

Angelina [godspurplefrog.wordpress.com] set today's theme as “Keys” and I have a bit of a key collection. Just one of those weird things. I'm not really sure why I collect them, but I do. I have a small box full of them. These are just a few.

So, for everyone who has been curious as to where my daily themes are coming from, I have a couple of friends outside of PB that are also doing a 365 project. We all found it helpful to have themes to focus our efforts and make us stretch those creative muscles and try to come up with interesting interpretations of the themes. So, we took the Tuesday Inspiration, provided by a group here on PB and the Wednesday themes provided by mystic1 [photoblog.com] and then each chose a day of the week that we would set themes for. Andrew [bauer00.wordpress.com] has Thursdays, Angelina [godspurplefrog.wordpress.com] Fridays and I took Sundays. We have Saturday and Monday without themes to allow for some independent creative shooting.
If anyone is interested and needs a creative bump, I am more than happy to share!

For this next couple weeks coming up:
Sunday 3/7: Jump
Thursday 3/11: Music
Friday 3/12: Mask

Sunday 3/14: Jealousy
Thursday 3/18: Mess
Friday 3/19: Out of Place

Look forward to seeing everyone's photos! The more the merrier, I think! :)))

I like this little Master lock key. Not sure why, but it catches my eye.

These are great. The placement of the green key in the first shot is fantastic!

Love the way the random green key pops with color among the others. Thanks for the info on the themes!

Great set - love the shallow DOF. THanks too for the themes - might try a few of them out!

Great photo - perfect lighting and detail.
I have a drawer full of old keys that I have no idea what lock they unlock! Wish I had thought of this cool post - I'd have beat you to the punch - but my shot wouldn't have been this good!

I think one of those keys is to my first car - a used 1962 Chevrolet! Nice post, great dof!
