I've always wanted to take photos of the Cosmos…
Finally, I got a chance when I went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. It was a clear, moonless night… I drove from my nearby hotel to a parking lot near Mather Point. Being unable to orientate myself, I began to have second thoughts… luckily, I sort of scouted the area during the day, so I was able to maneuver slowly to Mather Point Overlook (in the meanwhile, worried about being attacked by wildlife and having creepy imaginations).
Once at the Overlook, I was instantly greeted by an extreme tranquility… I was alone, standing at the edge of the canyon. It was windless, so very quiet that I can hear my own heart beating! Its an out-of-this-world experience… when I looked up, its just me and the Cosmos! All that creepiness went away…
It was so therapeutic…
