Looking Back

Today after work (AND booking my next flight to Boston!! June 28th - July 1st!!) I headed over to my good friend Nicole's house to catch up. Nicole and I have been friends since grade 9 (or freshman year for my American friends haha). After nine years of friendship we always make time for each other and the chances we have to get together and catch up remind me of just how much growing up we have done. Nicole has just returned from her internship in Washington D.C. and in the fall will move to NYC to attend a grad program at NYU! I couldn't be prouder of the wonderful things she has done and will continue to do….

We chatted about my new job, Brett and of course her adventures in D.C as well as her recent trip to Mexico with her University friends! At the end we got to some chatting about the old antics we used to get up to in high school.

When I returned home that evening I had the urge to pull out some old year books and take a glance through. Though not that long ago I see such changes. Through the wonders of facebook I am in know about many weddings, careers, educations and travels that my high school colleagues are up to these days. It really is neat to look back and see just how far we have come.

To all those I attended high school with who may check my photoblog (also through the wonders of facebook)… congrats on all you have accomplished and will continue to accomplish.

Mouse over the photo to find me when I was only 14 years old…. I can't even believe I am posting and sharing this….
