Sunday was more of a laid back day spent walking all over the city and using up the rest of the time we had on the hop-on-hop-off bus. We rode the bus around all morning and took in a few sites we hadn't seen yet. We also walked around Grafton Street and enjoyed a delicious “Cookie Hot Chocolate” from Butler's Chocolate Cafe (Hot Chocolate poured over Oreos… so yum!) That night after dinner Brett found a bar that was showing NFL football so we went in for some drinks and watched some of the San Diego game.

Our hotel from the street…

An overcast day in Dublin

Checking out the tall ship across the Liffey

These sculptures were along the Liffey - meant to represent the citizens of Ireland who suffered during the famine. They were pretty creepy….

Even the details on the light posts were beautiful!

Blue doors at the Custom House… I'm always enjoying the empty beer cans all over the ground :)

At the bottom of O'Connell Street…

Dan Rooney's house - one of only two residences in Pheonix Park! (For those who don't know, Dan Rooney is not only the owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but also the ambassador of the US to Ireland)

The other resident of Pheonix Park? The President of Ireland

Standing outside the Four Courts after a quick trip back to the Old Jameson Distillery for some Christmas gifts. It was so windy when I took this picture I actually almost blew over

The only rainbow we saw while we were there - I think it completed our trip ;)

I think this picture will always make me laugh. Brett really wanted to go to this restaurant in temple bar because he saw a great deal for Irish Stew and a Guinness. WELL - turns out it was a Mexican restaurant which was hilarious, and that the deal wasn't for a PINT of Guinness but a GLASS of Guinness haha - hilarious. One of the best stories from our trip.

Our perch at the bar Sunday night watching football - my drink of choice seen in the front. When I wasn't drinking Guinness I was all about Bulmer's Cider! Really enjoyed it!
