Frosty Reflection

Not far from my house is this place. Most mornings it looks very ordinary, brown and even unattractive. Add snow and I rush back home to grab my camera and get a few frames. I rarely pay attention to the landscape around me because I see it every day. There are many places like this that I drive past every day. I have to pay attention more methinks.

Kevin,
Lately I have been noticing things that have been too familiar!
I guess it's part of the "Art of Seeing" that develops with photography!
Great capture!

It's more a matter of timing. I drive past knowing there is a good photo opportunity there but only under the right conditions. Waiting and watching for the right conditions is the recipe for a successful photo.

Thanks Antonio. The reflection was a bonus. I didn't even see that myself until after I was editing the image.

Thanks Lynn. It was fortunate that I got there for the photo before all of the hoar frost melted off the branches.

That is a great landscape. Would be a shame if you kept on neglecting it smile

It's only a good photo in the right conditions though. Every other day it looks like a muddy ditch.
