The tallest mountain I went up whilst I was visiting Nagano in Japan was about 1800m above sea level. The day was reasonably clear so there were some fantastic views! This panoramic is comprised of 13 individual photos stuck together into one image and covers about 270 to 300 degrees for field of view! The sky up here was fantastic, it was like being on a level with the clouds, which a lot of the time in fact you were! Cloud shadows spread out below. The area around here was an old abandoned farm of some sort and had this fantastic reflecting pool set into the mountainside. You could see a huge distance from here on a very clear day! Clouds floating by… Some hang-gliders far away and far below… It was quite cold up here even though it was a sunny day. The chill wind especially was pretty strong.
