Yesterday, we took a day trip to Abu Dhabi to come see, among other places, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. One interesting thing I learned from a tour guide is that, in Islam, they do not use pictures of people or animals. So, instead, they use geometric patterns or flowers and plants for their designs. This post features some of the flower and plant designs on the windows of the mosque, which in my opinion, are quite beautiful.
If you enjoy these pictures and would like to see more, I suggest you come see my other post: "Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque". Thanks for viewing!

I love geometric shapes...so pleasing to my eye.
I love geometric shapes too. Thank you for commenting!
