So, after nearly one month and a half of living out of a suitcase, my family and I are finally settling into our new home. Our teaching careers have now led us to Kazan, Russia. So far, our school and administration have made us feel very welcome, and we have been busy setting up our new apartment. Kazan is a beautiful place, in our opinion, and we look forward to this new chapter in our lives!
Below here are pictures of my husband and son in front of the Qolşärif Mosque -- probably the signature landmark of Kazan. Hope you enjoy!

Kim, best wishes to you and your family on your new jobs. What a wonderful profession, teaching! Looking forward to some incredible winter captures from Russia :)
Thank you very much for your well-wishes! I look forward to taking winter captures as well; I've been living in the Arabian Desert for several years, so winter/snow will be quite a different sight :)
