Bauman Street is probably the most well-known street in the Old Town of Kazan, Russia. In it, there are plenty of restaurants with terraces, shops, and pedestrians enjoying the outdoors. Here, I have photos focusing on a number of its buildings and monuments. Fortunately, the sky was very blue that day.

Not the ugly architecture some russian cities feature. These are almost like the ones I've seen in St. Petersburg
I haven't been to St. Petersburg yet, but my husband has and he agrees with you. We have yet to discover other parts of Kazan, but other than the Bauman Street area, there is a mix of old(er) Soviet-style buildings and very modern-looking ones. Thank you for commenting!
