Another great day with mom and calf :)

During our swims with those we were notified that a lonely calf was hanging around next to another boat not far from us. They decided to try to bring them togehter so the mum might adopt the lonely calf. The calf followed the boat and met us and the mom and calf. At first it looked like they would join but after 15minutes mom and her calf went in the opposite direction leaving the lonely calf to itself. :(

I guess by now its not alive anymore, that was a real sad moment... A calf needs about 100-300liters of whalemilk per day to survive...

Everybody on the boat was really sad. Nature can be harsh.
