The rain was beating down hard on our roof last night. We got over 60mm of rain... We're very happy now! I could not get anything rain related today, but I got something a bit greener! The horses in the field and the bamboo leaves in the foreground caught my eye as I was walking outside. It is not something spectacular, but I like it!
I have used manual mode a lot! It has actually changed how I photograph and probably affected my style too. I have not been following the weekly themes closely because it is not winter here, and most of the themes are related to winter! But, I had a look at what the theme was today before I went outside to photograph something, and decide to do this theme (manual mode). In aperture priority it was overexposing the scene.
Shot on my D5300 with a Nikon 18-105mm kit lens.
Edited with Photoshop, Color Efex Pro and Viveza.
If you have not used Manual mode, give it a try. It does not cost you anything!
