Day 28: Rodeo

Hey there photogs! I had a very fun day today. I got a chance to go to a family fun day rodeo with some of my family. It was very hot and the dust from the ground blew into my face constantly!  Nevertheless, I got some good photos. Here are my best for today.

A grass enclosure with people on horses jumping over a jumping pole

This was the first time that I got to photograph this event

A brown horse jumping over a yellow horse jump

The riders were very good handlers of their horses

A man in a black cowboy hat sitting on a brown horse with his back towards the camera

I really like this photo. Even the wires, because they add a sense of location

Two boys being pulled along on the ground while on a rubber board pulled by two horses.

This was new to me. I think they called it a "Ride on mower" race!

After they went to the other side of the enclosure they had to race back with the "Lawn Mower" on the horse. Some did not even get to mount properly!

Two adult horse riders carrying a bow each behind them

They were very competitive! He is not even fully mounted!

A man riding a black and white bull.

I only got to photograph one bull ride. Pretty vicious stuff!

Well I hope you enjoyed the photos, and let me know by giving likes and staring my photos. Comment too!

All photos taken on a D5300, 18-105mm and 50mm prime lens, and edited with Photoshop and Color Efex Pro.

Keep that camera out o' it's bag!
