Day 114: Reaching For The Sky

It is becoming really chilly in the afternoons. If I don't wear warm clothing I feel a crisp chill when I go outside!

"Goodbye summer... I'll remember you with longing during the winter."

That is not to say that it is bad weather at the moment, though. Today was really nice actually! It was still chilly though.

At sunset time the sky was clear as crystal. On my way down to feed the chooks (chickens) I noted that the light cast by the setting sun was really golden. I looked up and saw this grapevine growing into the sky, reaching out for a stronghold to grab onto.

Although a grapevine is not a tree it still made me think about this interesting fact about trees. Trees, as long as they are alive, never stop growing! They might not get taller but they still grow wider. Amazing, isn't it?

What/Who do you grab onto for stability when there is trouble?

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
