Today some of our friends came over for a visit and to help us with the cementing project.

Note: My Mum took the first three photos.

It is quite a complicated task, creating a cement floor! Firstly, we had to move all the stuff we had away from the floor. Then we had to clean up the area, and dig away a lot of clay and gravel. To have a strong floor we had to create a level foundation (we used pink string-lines stretched across the area to find the correct level). After that we had to put wooden boxing around the area where we were going to pour the cement. Everything had to be level and straight! Lots of measuring and checking levels.

And that is not the end of it yet!

After the work on the garage floor, our friends decided to stay for dinner.

This is a really cool thing!

After dinner, my sister and I went to stay over at our friends place for a few nights. In the washroom I saw this sock board. I really like it! So funny!!!
