After a long visit to some friends of ours, it was getting late. As I walked out the door and down the stairs, I noticed looking up that the light looked really interesting as it reflected off of the stairs' hand rail. I put my 50mm ƒ/1.8 on my camera so that I could photograph the iron railing in the dark. The 50mm and wide aperture that I used also compressed the scene and gave the out of focus areas nice bokeh which I love. I also enjoy the graininess in the photo.

I'm sorry that I have not been posting frequently but I am really busy at the moment. It takes me more time than I have to write a couple of posts a day. I'll keep posting whenever I have the chance!
