Day 173: Second Pouring Of Concrete

After we had removed the old footpath(Day 168: Demolishing The Footpath), we cleaned out the area and put in steal reinforcing mesh. Today we poured the concrete section. It was a lot easier than our previous pouring of concrete as this was a smaller area.

We started work around 10:30 am and we finished the job at 6 pm! I slept like a log that night. It was a lot of constant work.

It was worth the effort! Having a concrete floor is a lot nicer than mud floor during the winter.
