Day 176: Spring Snowflake

Tonight I decided to go outdoors for my photograph of the day. I took my flash along so that I would be able to photographs subjects other than the stars (which I usually do at night outside).

I chose this Spring Snowflake as my subject on account of it being such a bright white that it stood out in the dark. The darkness of night helped me give contrast to the flower and the green plants around it. And the inverse square law helped too!

I hoped you enjoyed looking at one of the most abundant flowers on our garden!
