07.25.2013 - San Luis Obispo

So we did a lot of things in a few days. I'll do my best to recap in the space provided, assigning some stories to the following day in order to maximize the pictures shared!

On Thursday after John got out of class we drove down to San Luis Obispo, about 3.5 hours south of Oakland. We checked into the hotel and headed out quickly after to find food for our starving bellies. The receptionist told us to check out the Farmer's Market going on that evening downtown. Thinking I didn't have much need for fresh produce, we dismissed it and set off in search for a restaurant we found on Yelp.

When we got downtown, we ran into a massive road block - hundreds of people, food vendors, craft vendors, and a little bit of produce. It was the farmer's market. After wandering through we still walked to Petra's, a highly regarded Mediterranean local restaurant. At Petra's we settled on the Gyro Pizza, which was awesome, and walked back to the car by the market as the fog and night set in.
