De eso van las fotos de este post: entre junio a noviembre/diciembre, las ballenas antárticas migran al norte para aparearse y tener sus retoños. Las he visto, de lejos y de chiripa, en el canal de Mozambique y en la parte oriental de Madagascar, pero uno de los mejores y más famosos lugares para verlas es en el Western Cape, cerca de Ciudad del Cabo. Uno puede verlas desde la playa o desde un acantilado. Hay empresas que te llevan en kayak a verlas. Yo tuve la suerte de ir volando.
The title can't hardly be more descriptive and unimaginative. That's what the photos in this post are about: between June and November/December, Antarctic whales migrate north to mate and have their calves. I've seen them, from far and wide, in the Mozambique channel and in the eastern part of Madagascar, but one of the best and most famous places to see them is in the Western Cape, near Cape Town. You can see them from the beach or from a cliff. There are companies that take you kayaking to see them. I was lucky enough to fly there.
