If there is one thing that facinates me, (well there are many things) it's stately homes/palaces/castles. There is so much history, amazing architecture and furniture, and stunning grounds. Whilst I'm not convinced I would have wanted that lifestyle, I still find it all amazing. Well Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire was no exception. What's even better is that you can upgrade your entrance ticket for an annual pass at no extra cost, so we can visit as many times as we like over the next 12 months and based on this recent visit we are going to need to. There is a 40ish minute interactive tour and also a free wander around the main building and state rooms, there were many other tours to do, so maybe those will be experienced on our next visit and we only touched upon the Capability Brown designed gardens.
