So after our mammoth trek up and down Masada and stopping for some lunch, we stayed in the Dead Sea Region so we could visit Ein Gedi National Park. We did actually stop at a Dead Sea Spa resort to have a quick dip in the sea. I won't scare you with our snaps from there, but it is definitely worth a trip. We got ourselves covered in mud and then walked down to the Dead Sea and had a float. The water was so warm and our skin felt amazingly soft afterwards.
Anyway, the real treat was visiting the Ein Gedi National Park, we got there just in time before they shut and it was so beautiful. Amazing views, beautiful little waterfalls, interesting wildlife and eventually you make it to the star attraction which is the Wadi David waterfall. We made it just in time before kicking out time, and it was stunning.
If you get the chance, try and stay in the Ein Gedi Kibbutz hotel. It is so beautiful and has amazing views, and quite frankly just what you deserve after a full day of hiking.
