Usually I break the resolutions I make when a new year begins, but I have a few simple resolutions for 2017. One of them is to do more of what I love, because it makes me happy! I have always been doing something creative, and my passion for sewing, quilting and photography will hopefully continue to grow this year. Because of health issues for more than a year, I haven't been able to do much of these things. But I started taking photography more seriously back in March 2016 when I bought my new camera. A Panasonic lumix GX8 with a 12-35mm kit lens. This gave me a kick in the butt to get out and go hiking a lot again. Lots of "bumps on the way", but I've accepted the fact that one step at a time can do wonders. I'm doing the 365 Challenge to get motivation, and of course I hope it will inspire me to improve my skills in photography and editing. I just recently started using Lightroom, and there is so much to learn! I know it will be hard to do this every day for a year, but hopefully I can look back in a year and see some progress and get out of my comfort zone. I'm so glad my oldest son shared the link to this challenge yesterday!
Today I went on a short hike just to take a few shots, since the weather was clear and the landscape was covered with white snow again. A beautiful day here in Trondheim today.
