I thought today's theme was a bit difficult to figure out, but when I could see the sun rising up over the treetops today I knew what to do. Chasing the sun beams through the snow covered trees was not so easy when it was 12 degrees below zero and I left the house without gloves, only wearing a thin jacket. But I just had to try to get this one shot... I regret not using my polarizer filter, since the sky turned out a bit too bright, and the blue is not showing as much as it should. But lesson learned... Photographing snow is difficult anyway, but I think I managed to edit the photo as close as possible to how I could see it with my eyes.
I also grabbed my camera later today, during the magical "Blue Hour". I just had to try to capture this beautiful scenery. The sky wasn't turning pink like yesterday, but it was just as amazing with the dark blue tone. I have no experience with this kind of photography, but I look forward to learn more, and maybe learn how to do some focus stacking to make the photos pop and get the overall sharpness. I've been using my tripod when capturing landscapes, but still learning how use my camera and the settings.
