THG shoot

The weather is unseasonably warm today. It must be close to 60 degrees as I walk in to work. By midday it is close to 80 degrees. It feels wonderful after the cold of winter but at the same time, spooky. It isn't supposed to be this warm this early in the year.

The outside of the building I work in is fascinating to me. It is an old building and prior to The Hibbert Group taking it over it was obviously used for some other manufacturing industry. There are bits and pieces of the old company in evidence all over. I love the visual textures of the place. Like this shoot. No clue what passed through it. It has no purpose for Hibbert. My imagination runs wild… did it carry out trash? Or, maybe a liquid something? Did it load a train car? That is likely because there are train tracks along side the building where this shoot is. In fact THG used the rails as a form for their sidewalk cement. Cute.

Come to think of it, I have to photograph the broken glass that is piled everywhere next to the building. It is several inches deep and not flat pieces… more curved like light bulbs but made of heavier glass. What was that about? No clue.
