north wildwood beach

Late in the day after house chores the H and I drove down to freeload for a night and a day with his brother's family. They'd rented a shore house right on the beach in North Wildwood and we invited ourselves over. That's near the southern-most point of New Jersey south of Atlantic City and north of Cape May, but just.

You have to look up and say thank you for the gift of days and nights like these.

The sun was setting by the time we arrived and turned the sky all pink and blue and purple. Over this sand dune is the ocean and the silky-est softest sand you ever felt… so soft and fine it feels almost like powder.

the tide is coming in. my photo is too enlarged so it almost looks like a photo of connected dots.

The moon was almost half full and I said my hellos and sent hugs.
