Light naturally filtered by clouds and snow gives a soft ambient look..which I think looks a lot like the covers of some Christmas cards.

Every once in a while I get lucky and have my camera settings just right for the mood I'm trying to capture....

So what do you think? Can gloomy weather equal good photos?

Oh, I wasn’t actually asking for it! Just saying it’s frame-or-canvas-worthy. I wouldn’t have anywhere to put it until I get a place of my own, whenever that may be.

Agreed, they have such a soft, painterly look to them. I thought of Christmas cards as well! Just beautiful.
