Riding in slippery snow without a helmet and he may soon be a patient there.  (You may know that I'm the poster boy for wearing helmets in sports.)    construction worker

Yes, but makes me remember our childhood before anyone thought of protecting our noggins with helmets, we must have had guardian angels working overtime, because we managed to make it to adulthood in spite of our recklessness!angel

Laurie, reading Lee's comments, I have obviously missed something in your posts and hope all is moving towards the positive.
I had to do a double take on this post since it is April 20th and there is still quite a bit of snow and your biker seems to be just dandy with it. Me on the other hand would not be biking in those conditions smile

We just landed down in Rochester Minnesota via ambulance (again)
After a two week stay in Saint Mary's Hospital, my hubby is feeling much better.
I knew we would be down there for a while, so packed my camera! I had no vehicle, so it kept me from going bonkers on some days.
It was 70 and sunny the day we arrived and HOT. The next day there was over a foot of snow on the ground and it stayed for a few days. Then the rains came. It wasn't terribly cold, but blustery and a lot of moisture in the air. I wouldn't have been riding bike either, but I did a whole LOT of walking!

Glad to hear everything is looking up and that your husband is feeling better. Hopefully the weather will start cooperating as well.

Thanks Lynn!
I am thankful I had my camera with, we were there for 2 weeks and I would have been pretty bored some of the time without my camera!

Thanks Russell! That's my favorite too, I like how all the elements make geometric interest.

Laurie, I hope your husband is recovering well! I admire that you continue to participate in the challenge and am impressed that you get good captures from a location where you don‘t have much influence or flexibility!
The people who ride their bikes to work in the snow and cold are real heroes in my eyes.

Thanks Lee!
I participated as much as I could with sporadic internet access only to get home and find our internet modem was fried! I got a new one yesterday, so will try to catch up!
