Ouray, CO

This past January my boyfriend and I took a short weekend trip down to Ouray, CO to enjoy the hot springs and check out what was going on at the ice climbing festival.

Ouray is a small town in the San Juan Mountains and is known as the Switzerland of America.

The Ouray ice festival is held annually and is one of the biggest ice climbing events in the country, with lots of people, vendors, competitions, and events.

Just a short walk from the Ouray Ice Park is Box Canyon falls.

It was a super fun trip. I can’t wait to take another trip down this summer to see the town and canyon without snow!
