My second week in Lisbon, and I did a lot of sight seeing. One of the first place I went was the Museum of Antique Art. I walked the short distance from my apartment, taking photos as I went.
The museum was interesting, and I enjoyed the art and artifacts on display.
The second museum I went to, was the Museum of Puppetry. It is very interesting and worth the visit. There are all kinds of puppets and masks from all over the world.
I went to the Belém neighborhood, and viewed the Monument to the Age of Discovery, the Jeronimos Monastery, and the surrounding park and river front.
I went on an all day sightseeing tour, that took me to various viewpoints around the city. The first was Parque Eduardo VII.
Then the Aqueduct.
The next stop was the Panoramico of Monsanto, which is an abandoned luxury restaurant with amazing views of the city. It is open to the public, and it is covered in graffiti from a music festival that was held in it.
We finished off the day, and the week with sunset in a park with views of the water and Belém tower.
