Azjules and the Jeronimos Monastery

Portugal is known for its tiles or azjules, and one of the things I did while in Lisbon was visit the National Azjules Museum. Something else I did was take pictures of all the unique tiles on the buildings I passed as I walked through the city.

Here are a few of my favorites.

The National Azjules Museum was fascinating.

Tile art depicting Lisbon, that stretches the length of the room.

I also visited the inside of the Jeronimos Monastery during my last few days in Lisbon. The interior is more beautiful than the exterior.

Thanks for checking out my blog. Lisbon was a wonderful city to visit. I hope you enjoyed my pictures. This is my last post for a couple of weeks, but when I return I’ll be posting some photos from my time in Valencia, Spain.

I don't know Portugal because I have not yet visited, but it is on my list 😁. I'll look forward to seeing your Spanish posts, as I have visited several times
