In India, humanity is at stake and child labor is a crime against humanity. Several food junctions employ children as waiters and to do other jobs at their restaurants.
Jagdish, a 16 year old, works at Baker’s Bay food point as a full time worker. He is a native of Nepal but shifted to Bangalore 2 years ago in search of work. He stays near his workplace at Taverekere.
“I go back home once in 8 months and give my earning to my family. This way, I also get an opportunity to earn along with my father, ” he says.
Jagdish’s family consists of his parents and a younger brother. He supports his family financially and helps contribute in his brother’s education.
