Photoshop Fun - 1 photo, 2 colors

This collage happened by accident as I was trying to get the 2 photos to appear next to each other - the result is pretty interesting and I couldn't resist to post it.

Big thank you to Björnroose for the tip on how to get the photos next to each other and to Peterphotowalk for tips on how to change monochrome to b&w.

Hi Lee,

In Photoshop this is how you place 2 photos next to one another and save them as one:

- Open your first photo
- Go to Image > Canvas size
- Double the width (if both photos are as wide - if not: do the maths smile) or the height (if you want one under the other)
- Choose your anchor: if you want the extra space on the right, click in the upper left corner of the anchor thingy; if you want it on the left, click in the upper right corner of the anchor thingy (you'll figure it out for under or above)
- Go to File > Place and choose your second photo
- Hit Place
- If you don't want the second photo to be a few millimeters off, use Shift and the correct Arrow Key to move the photo until it reaches the border
- Hit enter

Now you can save the photo as one.
