Smiling rose in black & white

As I was shooting the roses I got for Valentine's Day I noticed that in black in white, this flower seemed to have a face: two eyes and a mouth. If you look closely it appears like a tongue is coming out of the right side of an open mouth, curling up to the eye like a lizard.

In color you don't see the effect of a "face" anymore. I discovered that the light is better inside than outside (last photo).

How fun, never seen a rose with a face like this one! smile I like that you created so many different effects with the same subject too.

Thank you! The macro of a rose is the classic motive, right? And a rose is a rose is a rose… so I appreciate your comment, I was trying to bring something new into the picture

Well, if you turn up the contrast and brightness in #4 a little more, I'm sure you'll have a very nice abstract photo smile
