The wonderful part about visiting a major city is the incredible variety of places to eat.
There are dozens of restaurants and cafes in the downtown Chicago area with "kitchen" in their name...here are just a few:
...Gigi's Kitchen, Real Kitchen, Porter Kitchen, Blue Door Kitchen, Fulton Market Kitchen, Modern Asian Kitchen, NoMi Kitchen, True Food Kitchen, Viand Bar & Kitchen, Brett's Kitchen, Madison Bar & Kitchen, Maria's Brazilian Kitchen, Sable Kitchen & Bar, Square Roots Kitchen, Greek Kitchen...
The Kitchen Bistro is located in an old warehouse directly on the Chicago River.
This seating really looks inviting. I'm sure it would be refreshing to have cocktails while sitting on the sofas looking out at the Chicago River and the skyscrapers on a warm, summer evening.
And if you're just grabbing a quick lunch, the Lyfe Kitchen one block up on Clark Street offers street cafe tables under shady trees.
I'm posting about these restaurants because I found it amusing to have two restaurants with "kitchen" in the name on the same street just one block away from each other.
Important note: We did not eat at any of the restaurants mentioned in this blog and this is in no way an advertisement.
