Washing windows under normal circumstances is hard work.

Washing big windows while hanging from a rope up about hundred meters above the street in windy, cold weather, is not just hard work, it's also dangerous work.

I will never complain about washing the windows in my house ever again. There are brave men out there who have it much, much worse.

Exactly, the windows on the upper level of our house get cleaned once a year because my husband has to get up on the “big” ladder which extends in 2 parts.  It’s a huge deal to get the thing out of the garage and set up. He cleaned the windows today so it’ll rain for sure this weekend

But of course, that seems to be the cue for rain, always.
