With this blog I hope to convey the impressions and sensations of summer: the hot air, the sound of buzzing insects and the smell of the water. Especially for those of you who live in big cities, perhaps this gives you a feeling of escape.

The first unpainted rowboat in the series may still be in use, however the next rowboat is decaying from many years of disuse.

I wonder what happened to the owner. Perhaps he is older and unable to get out anymore.

There are many small man-made lakes near to where I live. This lake also has a campground, however these photos were taken on the other side where the locals hang out.

I can almost hear the cicadias humming in the background of  #7. This is a rather cool set of images : )
