Painterly Ivy

Ivy framed by a cellar window

Taken with a modern iphone but looking hundreds of years old - almost impressionistic.

I did not apply a "painterly" filter. It looks painterly because the ivy is seen through an old pane of glass in an old cellar window of an old building.

In post-processing, I increased the clarity, removed some dirt from the window and cropped.

Sometimes there are magic moments, and so often for me, the only camera I have with me is the iphone.

A cellphone is more than adequate for this kind of shot, and I LOVE it!!! 🧡🧡🧡
