Today in the global news, the world is remembering the terrible events which involved the destruction of the World Trade Center towers in New York City on September 11, 2001.
Fifteen years prior, sometime in September 1986, I took this photo with my analog camera. I think it was my Nikon FG with a 50mm prime lens, but I really don't remember.
I "digitalized" the photo using my Canon GX5 - taking a photo of a photo and converted to black & white with no other post-processing.
The original analog print is not sharp, yet my memory of where I was and what happened 20 years ago on September 11th will always be very clear, much more vivid than the memory of the day I took this photo.
In memory of all the victims and the heros.
