Saul looking out over The Promised Land in Bellingen! Beautiful spot

Today was short and sweet, much like tomorrow is going to be.

Distance: 33 miles/ 55 kms

Had a great breakfast at BlueBottles in Woolgoolga, checked out the headland and panoramic views, jumped into my Lycra and off I zoomed..

Unfortunately an hour in to the journey today the valve on the inner tube broke off some how? Luckily support car Saul was 15 mins down the road and we got the Merida Speeder up and running in no time at all. We cruised through Coffs, saw the big banana and met up again in Bellingen.

This evening has consisted of checking out the local delicacies (craft beers) and boogying to the groovy band 'Funk Theives'. Quite frankly, a wild Saturday night out in Bellingen.

Bellingen is a special place and the Belfry Guesthouse is an oasis within the small alternative community. Anyone going down the coast would be mad to miss this place..

Highlights: late night mango cheesecake and ice cream and adopting a stray doggo for the eve

Lowlights: realising I'm down to the last inner tube

Sounds just lovely fun exhausting. Keep the flags flying. Keep right on to the end of the road ( as the song says) xxx
