I took a walk around Mission Beach today and saw some interesting sights. Belmont Park was packed and it's always fun to watch the rides and take in the carnival atmosphere.

One of the coolest things I came across was a group of cyclists that were about to embark on a cross-country bike ride from west to east coast. They are raising money to bring fresh water and medical clinics to Africans. Their organization is Ride Well and they dig wells, educate and help Africans become self-sustainable for long term health and wellness.

I spoke with the founder Aaron for a bit and he's a man making a positive difference for our world. They may be coming through your town, so check out their website HERE [] and give some money while you're there. $1 supports 1 African with fresh water for 1 year! I just donated online and it feels good to give to those who need it.

The names says it all…

June Gloom engulfing the beach

Wavehouse rider

These cyclists are about to ride across the country…on their bikes!
