Peaceful Snowy Night in the City

It was basically blizzarding all day today. but at least it reached 20 degrees… which felt ‘warm’… and i'm being serious.

It was a really beautiful night walking from my gym to the El stop. The snow was falling lightly by then and the sky was lit up. It's times like these, when I'm crossing over the river, that I feel really peaceful and so happy to live in this beautiful city. :-)

I really love these pictures - somehow the combination is quite magical. We never get snow that that here!

so cool lex!! Although I am more a wide open sky kind of girl these are great, I would love to save #2 to my favorites if I wasn't having problems with my server, great job again!

Wow my friend, these are wonderful! As Sheri says, the sky in these shots with its orange/rosy glow is stunning. Peaceful is the perfect word to describe this scene.

How cool. I love Chi-town and the beautiful buildings but I don't miss the snow. Do you know the high was 73 degrees F today? The weather here is so unpredictable. These photos look great. Seeing the snow actually falling adds a great effect.

WOW Lex these are amazing!! The orange glow in the sky is way kool!! Hate to tell ya this but it was 46 here today!!! Wooo-Hooo break out the suntan lotion?? ha ha yeah right snow on Thursday!! :(

I love the way the light in the Marina Towers bends around in arcs... It DOES look like a nice peaceful city night!

I like the contrast between the hardness of the buildings and the snow looks like stars. The colors are beautiful, too.
