New Orleans Convention

Some of the sights from the Rotary International Convention in New Orleans last month.

The convention center in New Orleans was huge! We had 18,000 Rotary members in attendance, and we were one of three conventions being held there at the same time.

Artwork on the side of a building near our motel.

The Riverwalk by the Mississippi River has lots of shopping and dining!

This band greeted us at the entrance to the Riverwalk.

The Nachez is a paddlewheel riverboat that tours the Mississippi River.

Brenda and I sang in the 65-voice Rotary World Choir on Sunday to an audience of 1,650 people.

Some Rotary friends from Nigeria were at the convention.

Hi Larry! Did you enjoy New Orleans? Did you tour the devastated areas that never got built back?
