Sunday Meeting

This morning we attended a church meeting in the old log church in Silver Dollar City. The building was full (with about 30 people), and after singing a few songs, the preacher gave a short talk about finishing strong.
Afterward, I asked if I could take his photograph (because I loved the light hitting both sides of his face), and he agreed. Sadly, my autofocus got the speaker's stand in front of him instead of him. The stand was made from a tree trunk, and was truly unique!

Awesome Church! The tree trunk pulpit sure makes the speaker behind it look like he's delivering a serious message!

Well I like it, gives the preacher a serious look , and the "Stand" stands out in it's simplicity , Well done.

That church must be really old. I liked the pragmatism of the wooden log.
