March 16-19, 2017
Hi Everyone! Thanks for checking out the photo blog. As mentioned in the last blog, one of the great things about being a teacher, are the breaks during the summer and throughout the year. This especially means SPRING BREAK! Since my lovely fiancee (now wife) and I were having a wedding in May, we planned to take it easy during my spring break and stay local-ish. So when we found a folk music festival taking place in North Florida, we decided that was the perfect getaway for us. Great music, great beaches, and a mini-vacation a few hours away- perfect!
.
The music festival was a 3-day affair, and we attended every second of it! It was quite an exhausting commitment, but we had a great time seeing all the various bands. Check out one of the pics below to see the lineup.
.
In addition to attending the festival, we spent a day traveling the old town in St. Augustine. As you may know, St. Augustine is technically the oldest city in the United States. It was a really cool little side trip, both from the festival and from our normal south Florida surroundings. Overall a great vacation with many different awesome and fun aspects!
.
Below are some pictures from the festival. We also included some of our favorite pictures from old town St. Augustine. Click on each photo for the compact view. If you would like to see our entire Anastasia/St. Augustine album, with many more photos and videos of the bands, please click the following LINK .

Thanks for checking out the blog. We hope that you enjoy!
