Re- Creation and Dinner

Those of you who've known me since my original carnation in last years 365 project may think some of these photos are re-posts from early 2010, but they're not. I lost all those photos so today I went out to try and recapture some of them. I don't know if they're as good as the originals but they might be. Anyway, it's kind of fun going back for a “do-over” and possibly correct mistakes I made the first time around.

Look familiar? Edgar? Brenda? Anyone? lol
Well, this isn't quite right because there was actually a semi parked in front of the windows to the right that I originally shot, but I still like it.

Didn't use any color last time. I kind of like it.

This was originally sepia but damned if I can find a way to adjust my camera to shoot in sepia.

This was in black and white last year and in black and white now. I'm not sure, but I think there were more leaves in the original. But I still like this one better.

I actually got dirty and laid on the tracks to take this. I kinda like it.

While I was out, I came across this old wooden ladder. Thought it looked really cool.

Close up.

So, we could have gone to this and met the stars of The Deadliest Catch, but we didn't. Why does everything have to cost money?

Appletini!!! Mmmmm. I wanted a Tangerini but apparently the mix hasn't made it to our area yet. Will keep you posted.

Great post! I love the railways tracks - the one from the low viewpoint is fabulous - it was worth getting dirty for!
