Daffodil, Ducks, Drops and Drama

  • Posted March 18, 2011 by Felecia Viewed 572 times

So I decided to try a little of this “macro” thing everyone else seems to be so proficient at. I don't really think the daffodil turned out very well, or the drops on the green leaves, but I am kind of ok with the drops on the leaf taken from the side.

This is a daffodil outside the office door.

This is a duck outside the office.

These are some leaves that belong to the daffodil.

These are some water drops that live on the leaves that belong to the daffodil.

This is just another ship shot. I like it because I love how the clouds in one area will darken the water beneath them and the brighter sky will lighten the water.

The drops are really cool. I think it would be funny if you posted the other half of the duck! Nice set.

Great shot on #4! Macro takes a little bit of practice and a very steady hand or tripod. Oh and no wind either.. best of luck to ya. :)

Excellent exercise in macros - I love your flower and the water droplets, especially #4. And the duck shot is a great find and a great photo!

I like how 'Ship Shot' rolls off the tongue. Nice set and title. Experimentation [i.e. the macro thing] is fun, ain't it?

We are a lot alike some times! The whole macro thing eludes me! But you did do a great job on the water drops... better than I've ever done for sure! Funny dialogue too. :)
