More Sea, Lighthouse & Plants

C'mon! Get out of your chair! I know you can't sit still with this song on!!
:o)

This is how impossible it was to see the lighthouse through the mist from the distance we were when we first accessed the beach. If you squint (or wave your mouse over it) you can find it.

This is how it looked when I tried to zoom. Seriously. I had to walk sooo far to get the shots I posted yesterday.

This is one of those shots I took so I can get better at taking shots that I mostly suck at.

More surf. I just love it.

Another attempt to un-suckify.

I really like that second shot, it gives the feel of the fog nicely! As far as macros go, my theory is that no one can be good at everything... and that's MY justification for being bad at some of them! :-)

#1 WOW-ZER!!! the macros are shaping up! The only way to un-suck is to practice, practice, practice! When I 1st started shooting birds in flight I would have maybe a head, part of a wing, maybe a foot, or once in awhile the whole blurry bird! Practice what you love and love what you practice. You'll get there! Your shots are grrrrr8! :)

Number 3 and 4 tell me that you don't need to worry about unsuckifying anything. They are sharp, focused, have nice bokeh and are interesting. The lighthouse in 1 is one of those photos that add intrigue as it makes others look closely at your work for that hidden element.
